Now, for the usual intros! (AKA, the part that appears every letter) My name is Noelle, and I'm an author... I'm also a wine guide and a City Government worker in Idaho where I'm not exactly the norm. Perry is my CEO and she's a German Shepherd. Padfoot is CCO and he's a Pitbull Husky mix. My husband is a ginger and has no official role in our organization but unofficially he's like that person in the office who makes sure there's always coffee and snacks but nobody pays him or learned his name (it's Michael). Since the last email, we've decided he's our unpaid intern. Thank you for joining, unsubscribe is at the bottom, I do get notified if you leave, it only hurts my feelings a little but I'm a pathological people pleaser, see above that I rewrote a whole book to make a negative review love me... I really hope they read the new version. I write as E. N. Crane and Noelle Rider. All my books are centered around the bond between women and their dog. The women are plus-sized, caffeine addicted and usually awkward in social situations... which also describes me. My humor is a combo of gallows and childish "that's what she said" with a sprinkling of science and healthy dose of sass. Need a completed Trilogy where the bad guys lose and a lot of people end up bloodied and murdered? Check out my thriller trilogy: The Ampersand Trilogy. It's available on KU and has a lot of very dark themes but no trigger warnings because I didn't know those were a thing, but it's a thriller, so... disturbing and potentially gory?
Huge fan of romance with magical elements? Witching and Scheming eBook is on KU and Amazon, as is Pumpkin Spice which has more realistic magic, like setting intentions and whatnot. Pumpkin Spice is also the only book I've written in 3rd person and I'm still not certain if I should take it down or leave it be.

After months of random scenes for this popping into my head unbidden and at inopportune times, I finally sat down today and busted out 2 chapters. Well, one chapter and a prologue. I think we're really going to enjoy our time with Drax and Tempe, but I'll let you decide for yourself when the time is right. For now... I'd like to tell you she is officially coming into existence, but her cover is sort of in limbo. My friend who does art has not been art-ing and has had a bit of life come up so I don't know where she's at with it or if it's even still on her radar, though I hope it is because I've done the initial giving of money thing and I love her art and if I have to choose a new artist I'd have to re-do the first one so they match and I'd prefer not to do ANY of this. So... we're in a holding pattern, but fingers crossed that we can get Book 2 in The Huckleberry Hollow series up for pre-order soon. Also, Jumping Judiciary Corruption is underway. That has also been having random scenes pop into my head demanding out, so we'll be spending this week oscillating between the two and see what we can get done. Oh! I took the whole week off to do noting besides read, write, hang with dogs and sleep. Sounds like a wasted vacation to some, but my little heart is thrilled. Personally...Vancouver, BC was INCREDIBLE! But I got a cold and my ears STILL haven't unplugged, going on two weeks now. Also, I turned 37... but as the day was spent on a train and then in an airport, it was rather anti-climactic after the last night of the Era's Tour. Please enjoy some random photos. The day after the show, we went to the Capilano Suspension Bridge park, Taylors Version, to see their canyon lights display all Taylor-fied. It was honestly amazing, but that bridge was a bit terrifying because people kept shaking it and the amount of pain I was in after walking all over Seattle and Vancouver was too much to have my ankles abused like that. But I loved the Seattle Aquarium and I saw the Space Needle for the first time, so just overall, it was an incredible adventure. While my intern and I were away, the kids were in the care of their grand pawrents (aka my human parents) and they seem to have been having a great time and not even missed us when we got home. Go figure. Padfoots Periodicals / Palsβ Merry Woofmas to all, and to all a good sleep! We were forced to see a creepy man in a beard, and since humom is a kind of witch who makes moon water, wassail and sings to trees, I can only assume she dids this to us to be mean. Sadly, the digital from that arenβt here yet. But, this is our Holly-daze photos from HuMoms attempts at photography and a pic of the Santa Polaroid. Lub, Da Padfoot (& CEO Perry) |
Writing stories π Self-publishing books inspired by my dogs, mental illness, and generally immature sense of humor. I have an MS in Psychology and a BS in Biology with a minor in Philosophy and Chemistry- all of which is useful for writing Mysteries and Romance... kind of.
Happy March, Reader! I'm going to try to keep this one short and sweet because... well... one, I'm supposed to be getting ready for work and two, I'm also supposed to be eating food and getting more coffee. I'm attempting this after only one cup of coffee so if you get lost or find errors, well, you know there is a legal limit to function on caffeine and I am below it. Wish me luck! First: New colors and fonts! I went to a publishing summit and one of the things they suggested was consistent...
How's it going, Reader? I don't think there's anyone new here... the program I use to send these says no one new has joined in the past 30 days which means we are going to skip the intros and the blah blahs and get right to the pupdates and gossip! The Ampersand Trilogy redesign and reformat for all eBooks and Paperbacks is complete. It took 6 hours of my Sunday, but by golly... they are all live and updated on the Amazon. eBook updates for Without Regret on my website are still pending and I...
Happy American Thanksgiving, Reader! Gobble, gobble, my brain is struggling to hobble. This month started off with hope, crashed and burned and now... here we are. Preparing for a day of gluttony and then a month of mass consumerism. I've recently struggled with Thanksgiving since it feels kind of like celebrating the slaughter of Native Americans with the insurgence of British imperialists. Even if that's not what it's about anymore, it is how it began. Yet another American tradition and...
